Wow. I'm back. So this is what michigan looks like. hmm... kind of flat... sort of boring. Do I really live here? Well not for long...but we'll get to that in a moment.
The Canadian Rockies are probably now one of my favorite places on earth. Have you ever been there? you might want to fit that into your life in the next couple years. It is absoultely magnificant. If you don't believe me, look at my pictures here. These are only from the first 2 days of our trip. I will have lots more next week and beyond.
We did lots of hiking - I think we were hiking every day except the first day we got there and the day of the wedding. This included a hike up a rock pile and then up a, well, solid rock, to the top of a peak, during which I sat down and just started crying because I was so scared. But don't get me wrong - I would do it again in a heart beat. I mean, seriously--did you look at my pictures? Check this out:
Speaking of once in a lifetime opportunities...I quit my job today. I'm moving to Boston and going to Grad school. It's no banff, but it should be quite an adventure. And man oh man, does it feel good to fill you all in on my little secret. But my time is up, so more on these topics (and knitting) next time...

Take me with you!!!!!!
